New Charge for Alvin Greene

Alvin Greene, the mysterious Democratic nominee for Senator in South Carolina, has been indicted today with a new misdemeanor charge of “communicating obscene messages to another person.” Greene allegedly asked a student at the University of South Carolina to go to her dorm room after showing her pornography.  Greene was arrested Nov. 12th, 2009, and charged with “disseminating, procuring, or promoting obscenity,” a felony.  The indictment also includes the original felony charge – Greene has not entered a plea yet.
